For years Ouarzazte was known by it’s film industry , where production companies come to film their pictures, they come tome to Ouarzazate for the landscape , the experienced technicians, but mainly for it’s beautiful sun light.
Ouarzazate now is benefiting in an environmental way from it’s sun, One of the biggest Solar Power Station in the world is being constructed on it’s land. The Solar plant will produce by the end of the construction 500 MW of clean electricity.
The project is constructed under the hate of MASEN, and AcwaPower, and will provide up the 5000 work opportunity during the construction phase.
