Editorial and reportage photography is a genre of photography that blends the talents of a journalist with an artist’s eye. Editorial and reportage photographers are often hired by magazines or newspapers but also NGO and non-profit organization to tell a narrative through photos. For many years, Abdellah Azizi was assigned by many NGOs and magazines to produce pictures and stories all over Morocco.
Documentary photography requires the photographer to have a solid understanding of the people and their environment to be able to capture images that will tell a cohesive story.
