With his camera in hand and a keen eye for detail, Azizi embarked on a journey to document the intricate processes behind this “liquid gold.” From the sun-drenched Argan groves where Amazigh women meticulously hand-pick the fruit, to the traditional stone mills used to extract the precious oil, Azizi’s lens captured the heart and soul of this ancient tradition. He documented the skillful hands at work, the vibrant colors of the landscape, and the pride and passion of the people involved in every step of the Argan Oil production.
